By September 28, 2009:
- Meet with your team and select two instructional strategies to implement this year.
- Identify district software and resources that could be used to teach these strategies.
- Begin to identify other resources that could be used to teach these strategies.
- Think about what types of assignments or tasks you could use to teach and reinforce the instructional strategies. What types of ITLS skills will students need to learn to successfully complete the tasks?
Download the District Team Planning Form.
Email to Sue Fulks by September 28, 2009.

Need assistance? See this web site for a great summary of the instructional strategies and how technologies can support each.

Then...
- Help team members create ten skills for their pre and post student assessment - five questions or student tasks for each strategy. Questions/tasks should be measureable and should reflect things that teachers will be working on with students during the school year. Then create a rubric which shows three levels of accomplishment for each skill.
- Take a look at and add your ideas to the suggested pre/post test questions on this wiki. Click on the name of the strategy (below or on the sidebar) to read/post suggestions for each.
- Questions on creating questions? Contact Jennifer Casper @ casperj@cesa5.k12.wi.us .
- Send the draft of your rubric to Jennifer for approval by September 28th.
Click here to go to the Pre and Post Student Assessment Page
Student pre-test questions and responses should be emailed to Jennifer by October 15th. Be sure to pre-test before introducing the strategies to your class.

My notes: Make sure that the pre-test is done before the instruction.
Ensure that you are gathering data along the way.
Coaches teaches one unit in the first semester.
Teacher teaches one unit in each semester.
You are to have five skills for each of the two instructional strategies.
NOTE: Unit is more than one lesson related to the grant.
