Grant Responsibilities

Teacher-participants are expected to:

1.    actively participate in one of the August 2009 training sessions

2.    implement and assess at least one classroom unit per semester integrating technology into the Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works framework

3.    turn in lesson plans, student assessment data, teacher reflection for each unit

4.    meet monthly indistrict with district coach and other team members

5.    actively participate in second semester online trainings and discussion groups with other teachers implementing the same instructional strategies

6.    complete surveys and data collection as required for grant evaluation

 

District coaches are expected to:

1.    actively participate in one of the August 2009 training sessions

2.    implement and assess one classroom unit during the first semester, integrating technology into the Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works framework

3.    turn in lesson plans, student assessment data, teacher reflection for the unit

4.    facilitate monthly indistrict meetings with team members

5.    create and share training materials and additional resources

6.    facilitate additional trainings within the school or district

7.    organize and co-facilitate a cross-district online learning community (January – May)

8.    assist with production of a dissemination video highlighting grant implementation activities

 

Due Dates:

December 11th, 2009 - First Semester Lesson Plan

April 30th, 2009 - Video Clips from Coaches

May 3rd, 2010 - Second Lesson Plan
